Food, gear replacement, repair etc. keep me on an extremely tight budget to accomplish this dream, and anything at all helps!! Even five dollars buys a weeks worth of instant breakfast or a few nights dinners. I had money saved for this trip, but it's going much quicker than expected. Most of the towns I resupply in are so small you have one grocery or general store to get food, which is always overpriced or marked up considerably. My parents and family have all contributed to the journey and are pretty much maxed out with what they can give. I'm very frugal with my funds and making it last. I make do with the gear I have and try and get every last bit of mileage out of each piece of gear, even when it is worn out. If you want to make a donation to the cause, anything at all is deeply appreciated! I also have a gift registry through REI for replacement gear.
